Ride Day Photos - Summer

riderCressy's Descent

The You Yangs MTB Inc put on a steller weekend of fun for those interested in a timed run down the famous Cressy's Descent.

The was a perfect lead into the 2010/2011 Vic DH Series or a first race for those that have never raced before or have never tried downhill before.

As usual, many thanks to the organisers, shuttle drivers and volunteers but a very special thanks to Bek & Scotty running the timing.

riderKing of Ballarat - Rd 1

Just a typical day in B-Rat, pretty much rained all day with only a few glimpses of sunshine.

The track conditions were constantly changing from fun and slippery to slow and muddy, even some big name riders had trouble keeping the bike upright while going fast.

Huge thanks goes out to Club Mud and their sponsors for a huge day.

riderLong Gully Re-Opening

Just over 100 riders came out to test the work done by BenReynolds and his trail crew.

And what a job they did indeed. Some smokin' berms, a few new jumps including a very interesting double and some sweet off camber stuff to test all rider levels.

Thanks go out to all involved from Scott Reidy and Ben Reynolds to the lovely ladies doing rego and the fine snags cooked on the BBQ..

riderEildon FTF Ride day

Wow, 150 riders turning up to a day of shuttle runs....un heard of.

Was it because this would be the only chance of riding Eildon before the start of the 09/10 Vic DH Series? I'd bet my last $ it is......

Mrs Hux was nice enough to site on the hill and get her eye in with the new flashes and remote triggers. I think these look awesome.
